Update...subsidence and dry air over the area resulted in record
high temperatures this afternoon with readings in the mid 90s
inland. Partly cloudy skies and light winds for tonight with low
temperatures in the upper 60s inland and low/mid 70s coast.
High pressure centered over eastern Canada will wedge southward
down the U.S. Eastern Seaboard tonight pushing a backdoor cold
front into the area on Wednesday. Breezy NE winds and low level
convergence will result in scattered showers spreading south along
the coast Wednesday morning along with cooler temperatures.

Aviation...VFR conditions with light winds tonight. MVFR conditions
with increasing winds as low clouds and scattered showers move
south into the area Wednesday morning. NE winds will increase with
gusts to around 20 knots near the East Coast.

Marine...onshore winds are expected to weaken slightly overnight
before strengthening again out of the northeast with the passage
of a cold front from the north on Wednesday. Advisory conditions
expected to continue through the week as winds and seas remain
elevated.

Rip currents: high risk of rip currents will continue the next few
days.
