showers will be possible Monday as a weak cold front and an upper
level disturbance cross the region. Dry weather and warm temperature
is expected for the rest of the week.

Near term /until 6 am Monday morning/...
cloud coverage is expected to increase throughout the evening as a
shortwave trough passes over Lake Erie. Isolated showers are
are occurring near I-80, with better associated moisture and ascent.
Dry conditions are expected to prevail south of Pittsburgh, where
surface high pressure resides.

Short term /6 am Monday morning through Tuesday/...
the upper-level shortwave is expected to move east early Monday
morning. However, a few isolated showers and storms are forecasted
to form as a weak cold front crosses central Ohio Monday afternoon.
Despite elevated instability, above 20,000ft, and lingering low-
level moisture, warm air in the mid-levels is expected to interfere
with updrafts.

Dry weather will return Tuesday as sfc high pressure builds in
behind the front and ridge building aloft commences.

Long term /Tuesday night through Sunday/...
ridging will remain over the Ohio River valley region through the
rest of the week as sfc high pressure shifts from the eastern Great
Lakes towards the eastern U.S. This will continue the trend for dry
weather with above average temperature.

Aviation /20z Sunday through Friday/...
general VFR can be expected although mid and upper level cloudiness
will be prevalent tonight with a crossing shortwave. The associated
sfc reflection at most convectively focus some isolated activity with
minimal terminal effects.

VFR is anticipated for the rest of the week as high pressure builds.
