Seas 16 feet with occasional seas up to 20 feet subsiding to 8 feet with occasional seas up to 10 feet. Dominant period 6 seconds in the afternoon. Protected waters very rough. Showers likely with isolated thunderstorms.

* At 1028 am EDT, showers capable of producing waterspouts were
located along a line extending from 8 nm north of k tower to 23 nm
south of v tower, moving north at 25 knots.

Hazard... waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats... damage
           vessels... and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
           on board are in a secure location and wearing life
           jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Buckeye Reef and marker 24 barge.
