The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Small
Craft Advisory, which is in effect from 10 am Tuesday to 4 am CDT
Wednesday. A gale watch has also been issued. This gale watch is
in effect from late Tuesday night through Wednesday evening.

* Winds... southeast to south increasing to 15 to 25 knots Tuesday
morning, veering southwest 10 to 20 knots Tuesday afternoon.
Winds will then veer to the northwest to 30 kts with gale force
gusts to around 35 kts late Tuesday into Wednesday morning.

* Waves... 1 to 3 feet Tuesday, increasing to 3 to 5 feet late
Tuesday into Wednesday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds over 20 knots or
waves greater than 4 feet are expected to produce hazardous
conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially
those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
conditions.

A gale watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds has
significantly increased, but the specific timing and location is
still uncertain. It is intended to provide additional lead time
for mariners who may wish to consider altering their plans.
