North wind 10 to 15 knots veering northeast 15 to 20 knots by mid afternoon. Cloudy. A slight chance of drizzle through early afternoon. A chance of sprinkles and flurries through the day. Waves subsiding to 2 to 3 feet, then building to 2 to 4 feet.
Tuesday Night
East wind 15 to 25 knots backing northeast up to 30 knots after midnight. Gale force gusts up to 47 knots. A chance of rain in the evening, then rain possibly mixed with snow after midnight. Waves building to 11 to 15 feet occasionally to 19 feet.
Northeast wind up to 30 knots backing north in the afternoon. Storm force gusts up to 50 knots. Rain possibly mixed with snow in the morning, then snow in the afternoon. Waves building to 15 to 20 feet occasionally to 25 feet, then subsiding to 10 to 14 feet occasionally to 18 feet.

* what... heavy freezing spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or
greater occurring, and may rapidly accumulate on vessels. West
winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 4 to 7 feet

* Where... Black River to Ontonagon mi and Saxon Harbor WI to
Black River mi.

* When... for the heavy freezing spray warning, until 7 PM EST /6
PM CST/ this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 am
EST /midnight CST/ Thursday.

* Impacts... operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
