... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Friday morning
through Friday evening for strong winds and low rh for fire
weather zones 101, 102, and 466...

* affected area... in Arizona... fire weather zones 101 and 102.In
Nevada... fire weather zone 466. This includes the Lake Mead
and Lake Mohave areas.

* Timing... mid-day Friday through early Friday evening.

* Wind... southwest winds 15-25 mph, gusts to around 35 mph.

* Humidity... 5-10 percent in the valleys, and 10-15 percent in
the mountains.

* Impacts... conditions will be favorable for rapid spread of
new fires. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Increased
outdoor recreation before the Holiday weekend will contribute
to increased fire concerns.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings. Those planning to head to recreation areas
should be aware of fire restrictions and use extreme caution with
potential fire triggers (e.G. Vehicles parked off paved roads,
campfires, etc.).
