... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10 PM this evening to
10 PM PST Monday...
* winds... areas of northwest to north winds 25 to 40 mph with
gusts to 55 mph. Isolated gusts to 60 mph in favored
locations. The strongest winds will likely be focused across
the Interstate 5 corridor, Santa Ynez Mountains, and Highway
33 corridor in Ventura County mountains. Winds are expected to
shift to the northeast late Monday night into Tuesday and may
require extension of wind advisories.
* Impacts... gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. This includes Interstate 5, as well
as highways 33 and 154. In addition, the gusty winds will
bring the potential for downed trees and powerlines.
When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
