... Flood Warning extended until late Sunday night for
the Perdido river near Barrineau Park
* until late Sunday night.
* At 9 am Saturday the stage was 15.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by tomorrow evening.
* At 13 feet... river begins to leave its banks at the parking lot of adventures
unlimited. River begins to threaten several permanently parked travel trailers.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Escambia River near century
* until further notice.
* At 10 am Saturday the stage was 19.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17 feet.
* The river will continue to fall through early next week.
* At 13 feet... minor overflow of lowlands in the area.
* At 17 feet... considerable flooding of lowlands.
* At 19 feet... low lying pasture will flood. Cattle should be moved to higher
ground.

* rip current impacts... frequent life threatening rip currents
are expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

There is a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents are life-
threatening to anyone entering the surf. Swim near a lifeguard.
If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don't fight the current.
Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired,
float or tread water until out of the rip current.
