High Surf Advisory, Coastal Hazard Statement

... High surf advisory remains in effect until 6 PM chst Tuesday...
... High risk of rip currents through Tuesday afternoon...

* along east facing reefs... hazardous surf of 10 to 12 feet will
continue through Tuesday.

* Along north facing reefs... hazardous surf of 7 to 9 feet will
continue tonight.

* Surf along north facing reefs will fall below hazardous levels
tonight.

* A high risk of rip currents remains in effect along east and
north facing reefs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Avoid venturing out along reefs and beaches... especially those
facing east. Large breaking waves can knock you down and cause
serious injuries.

Strong rip currents are expected. If you are caught in a rip
current... swim parallel to shore and back toward the beach when
possible. Do not attempt to swim directly against a rip current.
