the Cedar River at Cedar Rapids.
* Until Friday.
* At 4:00 PM Monday the stage was 18.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, rise to 18.3 feet Tuesday morning. Fall below flood stage
Friday.
* Impact, at 18.2 feet, water reaches the bottom of the Railroad
bridge along 8th Avenue in Cedar Rapids.

... Flood Warning remains in effect until Wednesday evening...

The Flood Warning continues for
the Cedar River at Vinton.
* Until Wednesday evening.
* At 3:15 PM Monday the stage was 17.6 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Recent activity, the ice jam remains in place upstream of the gage.
* Forecast, fall below flood stage Wednesday evening. The ice jam
brings uncertainty in the crest forecast. The crest could go up to
18.2 feet when the ice jam breaks up.
* Impact, at 17.5 feet, flood protection measures such as Road
closures and sandbagging begin. Water affects the intersections of
east 2nd street and 3rd Avenue and north 3rd Avenue and east 3rd
street in Vinton.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Cedar River at Palo Blairs Ferry Rd.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 3:15 PM Monday the stage was 15.2 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, rise to 15.3 feet this evening. Fall below flood stage
Friday morning. The ice jam near Vinton brings uncertainty in the
crest forecast. The crest could be somewhere between 15.2 and
15.8 feet.
* Impact, at 15.0 feet, the walking bridge from east Main Street to
1st street in Palo is impacted by flood waters. Trails along the
river are under water.

the wapsipinicon river near Anamosa Shaw Rd.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 3:15 PM Monday the stage was 17.3 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 14.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, rise to 17.6 feet Tuesday morning. Fall below flood stage
Thursday morning.
* Impact, at 17.1 feet, Buffalo and Walnut creeks begin backing up
impacting local roads. 42nd street west and east of Olin are
closed.

* Recent activity, ice action may cause rapid fluctuations
in river levels.
* Forecast, fall below flood stage Tuesday.
* Impact, at 12.0 feet, water affects low-lying streets in
Independence.
