Issued: 1:26 PM MST Feb. 25, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 8 PM this evening to
10 am MST Monday...

* what... snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery Road
conditions. In addition, areas of poor visibility are expected.
Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected. Areas
along Interstate 86 could see lower snow amounts.

* Where... the eastern Magic Valley and lower Snake River Plain,
including Burley, Shoshone, American Falls and Pocatello.

* When... from 8 PM this evening to 10 am MST Monday.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 35 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest Road
