The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Tell City.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:00 am Monday the stage was 41.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 44.0 feet by
Saturday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 44.0 feet... bottomland on both sides floods. Water
reaches base of floodwall.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 44.4
feet on Mar 15 2011.

the Ohio River at Cannelton lock.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Monday the stage was 41.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
rise to near 44.7 feet by Saturday morning. Additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 44.7
feet on Feb 22 2000.

... Strong and gusty winds through sunset...

Strong southwest winds will continue through sunset, with a few
gusts over 40 mph. Unsecured loose objects may be blown around,
and mainly small tree branches could be downed. Motorists should
use caution, especially in high-profile vehicles and on east-west
highways, including Interstate 64 and the western Kentucky and
Blue Grass parkways.

Gusts will diminish after sunset.
