The Flood Warning continues for
the Rolling Fork river near Boston.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 10:30 am Tuesday the stage was 31.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Wednesday and continue
to rise to near 37.2 feet by Wednesday evening.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 37.3
feet on Feb 7 2014.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southern Indiana and central Kentucky

* through Wednesday afternoon

* a cold front is steadily moving toward the region. Ahead of this
front, scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected. Plenty
of moisture in the vicinity of this front will mean any shower
or storm will have the potential to produce heavy rain and flash
flooding.

* Locations that see slower-moving storms easily could see one to
two inches of rain.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
