... Blizzard Warning remains in effect from 9 PM this evening to
9 am CST Thursday...

* what... blizzard conditions expected. Winds gusting as high as
45 mph.

* Where... portions of northeast South Dakota and west central
Minnesota.

* When... from 9 PM this evening to 9 am CST Thursday.

* Additional details... areas of blowing snow could significantly
reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the
morning commute. Bitterly cold wind chills as low as 30 below
zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30
minutes, and will continue through Friday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded, stay with your vehicle.
