... Areas of black ice this morning...

Areas of black ice have developed overnight and accidents and
spin outs are being reported. Black ice will continue to be a
problem for several hours until the sun can begin to warm the
pavement later this morning.

Black ice is frost or ice that has formed on roadways and bridges
that is very difficult to spot. If you encounter any ice, let off
the accelerator, do not hit the brakes, and keep the steering
wheel straight. Sudden movements or changes in speed can cause
the vehicle to go into a skid.
