... Flood Watch remains in effect from 6 PM CST this evening
through Saturday evening...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of south central Missouri and southwest Missouri,
including the following areas, in south central Missouri,
Howell, Oregon, Shannon, and Texas. In southwest Missouri,
Douglas, Ozark, Taney, and Wright.

* From 6 PM CST this evening through Saturday evening

* a couple more rounds of moderate to locally heavy rainfall is
expected on satuated ground tonight through Saturday evening.
One to three inches of additional rainfall is expected across
south central Missouri through Saturday.

* Additional flooding may develop of low water crossings, low
lying spots, area creeks, and streams.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
