... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Sunday afternoon through
Monday evening...

* what... heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 inches
or more possible.

* Where... portions of central and south central Montana.

* When... from Sunday afternoon through Monday evening.

* Additional details... travel may be difficult due to reduced
visibility and slippery roads. Cold wind chills as low as 30
below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as
30 minutes. Young livestock will face dangerous conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch is issued when severe winter weather is
possible but not imminent. At this time there is a potential for
significant snow. Future driving and walking conditions may become
hazardous so it is important to monitor the latest forecasts.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations.
Slow down and allow extra time when traveling. Practice your
winter safety rules. Keep an extra flashlight... food... and water
in your vehicle in case of emergency.
