... NOAA Weather Radio transmitter in Roanoke remains off the
air...

The NOAA Weather Radio transmitter wxl-60 on Poor Mountain... which
serves the Roanoke area... is off the air due to a problem with the
transmitter. Technicians are on site and working on the problem. It
is unknown when the transmitter will return to service. We apologize
for any inconvenience this outage may cause.
