Issued: 2:26 AM CST Jan. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 11 am CST this
morning...

* what... very cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero expected.

* Where... most of North Dakota north and east of the Missouri
River.

* When... until 11 am CST Saturday.

* Additional details... the dangerously cold wind chills could
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you dress
appropriately.

... Two additional rounds of snow through the Holiday weekend...

Accumulating snow is expected across northwest and central North
Dakota tonight through Sunday morning. At this time the greatest
accumulations, up to three inches, are expected to fall from
Bowbells and Minot, southeast to Harvey, Carrington and Jamestown.
Another weather disturbance will bring a second round of light
snow, up to two inches, late Sunday night through the Martin
Luther King Junior Holiday.

If you have travel plans through the Holiday weekend, be sure to
check for the latest weather and Road conditions, and carry a
winter survival kit.
