... Red flag warning in effect from noon CDT /11 am MDT/ today to
9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ this evening for strong winds, low relative
humidities, and very dry fuels...

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a red flag
warning, which is in effect from noon CDT /11 am MDT/ today to
9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* Affected area... Golden Valley, Billings, Stark, slope,
Hettinger, Grant, Bowman, Adams, and Sioux counties.

* Wind... northwest winds between 20 and 30 mph.

* Humidity... minimum relative humidity between 15 and 20
percent.

* Temperatures... highs in the upper 80s.

* Impacts... any fires that develop could spread rapidly.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
will occur, which can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
