... Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 3 am CST Sunday...

* what... blizzard conditions expected this afternoon into tonight.
Total snow accumulations 4 to 12 inches. Locally higher amounts
are possible. Wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph expected this
afternoon into tonight.

* Where... portions of east central and southeast Nebraska and
southwest and west central Iowa.

* When... from noon today to 3 am CST Sunday.

* Additional details... plan on roads becoming impassable this
afternoon and evening. Areas of blowing snow will significantly
reduce visibility. Some drifting of snow. Gusty winds may bring
down tree branches and cause power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded, stay with your vehicle.
