... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5 PM this
afternoon to 5 PM PDT Saturday...

* snow accumulation... 6 to 10 inches.

* Timing... snowfall will begin this afternoon. The heaviest snowfall
is expected between midnight tonight and 5 am Saturday.

* Winds... southwest 25 to 35 mph tonight, shifting northwest 10 to
20 mph Saturday.

* Impacts... the snow will make mountain roads and passes slick
and hazardous posing a danger to traffic.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Marys River above Hot Springs ck near Deeth.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:15 am Friday the stage was 7.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... moderate flooding will continue.
* Impact... at 7.6 feet... moderate flooding occurs on the lower
Marys River, with damage to roads, railroads, and structures.
Cattle can be mired or drowned. Streets and homes in Deeth flood.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:15 am Friday the stage was 8.3 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Forecasts are not issued for this location. This warning will
remain in effect until the River Falls below flood stage.
