Flood Warning
Issued: 10:23 AM EST Feb. 25, 2018 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the big Darby Creek at Darbyville
* until late Monday night.
* At 10 am the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 10 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* The river will continue rising to near 11.5 feet by this evening. The
river will fall below flood stage tomorrow late evening.
* At stages near 12 feet, lowland flooding occurs along big Darby
Creek in Pickaway, Franklin and Madison counties. Portions of Darby
Creek Road north of Darbyville become flooded.

Clark County in west central Ohio...
northwestern Licking County in central Ohio...
Madison County in central Ohio...
southern Union County in central Ohio...

* until 315 PM EST.

* At 1049 am EST, minor flooding was still being reported from the
heavy rain that fell last night.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will continue to occur. In addition, farmland near
creeks, streams and drainage ditches will continue to experience
minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Columbus, Springfield, Newark, Dublin, Westerville, Reynoldsburg,
Grove City, Delaware, Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Fairborn, Hilliard,
Marysville, Worthington, Bexley, London, New Carlisle, Granville,
Jefferson and Wright-Patterson AFB.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
