Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 4:59 AM EST Jan. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 1 PM this
afternoon to 1 PM EST Sunday...

* what... heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, with the lowest amounts south of
the Turnpike. Ice accumulations of one to two tenths of an inch
are expected.

* Where... south-central Pennsylvania along the I-70/76/81
corridor.

* When... snow will develop this afternoon and could be heavy at
times into the evening. The snow will change to a wintry mix
this evening and continue tonight before ending from west to
east Sunday morning.

* Additional details... plan on difficult travel conditions. Ice on
trees and power lines may lead to power outages. Gusty winds and
frigid temperatures Sunday afternoon will hinder storm recovery
efforts and may cause rapid freeze-ups. Dangerous wind chills
are expected Sunday night into Monday.
