expected across the North Carolina mountains, with less than 1
inch across the Georgia and South Carolina mountains.

northeast Georgia and western North Carolina.

* Additional details... power outages and tree damage are likely
due to the combination of recent heavy wet snow and ice. Travel
could be nearly impossible in many locations, especially where
temperatures remain below freezing. The hazardous conditions
should continue to impact the morning commute on Monday.
