The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a
dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 10 am CST this
* Winds... northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts between 40 and 50
mph in many areas.
* Visibility... 1/4 mile or less.
* Impacts... wind: lawn decorations and trash cans not secured
could be blown around and damaged. Small limbs could break.
Driving could be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles. Visibility: reduced visibility will make driving
hazardous. Leave extra room between you the vehicle in front of
you and use low beam headlights.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Secure
loose objects that could be blown around. Use extra caution while
driving, especially if in a high profile vehicle.
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to a quarter mile or less. If driving... slow down... use
your lowbeam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of
