Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 8:43 PM MST Jan. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 9 am Monday to
4 am MST Tuesday...

* what... heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7
inches expected, except locally higher along the Interstate 15
corridor. Winds gusting as high as 25 mph.

* Where... Sanpete/Sevier valleys, west central Utah and
southwest Utah.

* When... from 9 am Monday to 4 am MST Tuesday.

* Additional details... travel may be difficult as early as the
mid morning Monday, lasting through Monday night. Expect
winter driving conditions with snow covered roadways, and low
visibilities due to blowing snow. Consider replenishing your
car kit of extra clothing, food, water, flashlight and other
supplies.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
