... High rip current risk remains in effect until 6 PM AST this
evening...

* location... northwest through northeast beaches of Puerto Rico,
Culebra, and the north facing beaches of Saint Croix.

* Timing... high rip current risk through this afternoon.

* Impacts... strong currents that can carry away even the best of
swimmers.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

There is a high risk of rip currents.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
