... Snow with strong winds this afternoon and tonight...

A Pacific low pressure trough is expected to bring areas of
light to moderate snow showers to the mountains, developing this
afternoon and tonight.

Snowfall of 2 to 4 inches is expected above 8500 feet with areas
of 4 to 7 inches above 9500 feet. The snow level will fall into
the valleys during the evening with up to 1 inch possible below
8500 feet.

The snow showers will be accompanied by strong west winds of 20
to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the passes and higher ridges.

Hunters, campers and climbers should be prepared for snow and
strong gusty winds.

tonight.

the valleys during the evening with up to 1 inch possible below
8500 feet.

The snow showers will be accompanied by strong west winds of 20
