Atlantic still quiet, new wave moves off Africa
After a busy last few weeks, it seems that things have quieted down in the Atlantic. The only 'excitement' to be had is a new wave that has just moved off the coast of Africa. Convection in the wave is limited and certainly not organized. Development is not expected, but we will continue to monitor the system if only for a lack of anything else to watch.

They wrote it off lol
I think the NHC are very much qualified to say that. SST's in front of the wave are cooler, as noted earlier by the stratocu....envoronment is not that favorable. Like I said before, data out in the far eastern Atlantic is very sparse. It's really any man's guess as to what it will do initially.
Ive lost everything i owned and my dog because of that storm and i dont want it to happen again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its an area of disturbed weather under 30-40kts of wind shear...nothing to worry about, yet
CAN you beleve this guy i lost EVERYTHING!!!!
Wow you got some nerve!!
Weve gone from frican wave watching to GOM blob watching with nary a mean word spoken...lol
Truth be it as such....pretty quiet, considering I ran out of Vodka.
Hey looks like HurricaneGeorges is back LOL
and, while I'm at it....When are you going to apoligize to Bryan "President of the Yale Graduate School Student Body" Woods, Mr. "Third Quarter Freshman at Some Half-Baked Florida Junior College"?
WTF?!?!?! LOL
LMAO
Did you get a chance to see my Hurricane Dolly footage? If so, what did you think?
If you look...the thunderstorm activity is poorly organized. You can see its just a shapeless mass of thunderstorms that is sprawled out across the NE Gulf because of high shear.
Now if that sits there for a while it could have some potential. Its another wait and see thing.
Just having a little StormTop humor, that's all. Not wishcasting anything.
