THE WHITE SANDS AND EMERALD WATERS OF DESTIN

Destin has been in my thoughts and prayers since the BP oil spill.
As some of you know, with my sister and niece, I went to Destin last fall.
It is every bit as AWESOME (in the truest sense of the word) as you have heard and read.

From the pictures that I am (finally) posting, you can see how white the sand is.
What you cannot see, is how soft the sand is. Very fine on the tootsies! (Pun intended).









Life is good along the gulf.

The folks in Destin are warm, friendly and fun-loving. The food is great. Altogether a delightful experience.

Love of the water is in plain evidence everywhere.


Love of love also - That is a wedding party down on that white sandy point.



For those of you who travel and have not been to Destin - I heartily recommend that you place Destin on the top of your list.

I have thought of y'all often and thank you who came by here to say hello while I was away.

Time to pay attention to the tropics or pay the piper. So, I have wisely been lurking abit.
