Tea, I am not the wisest man on earth, far from it at times. What I do know is this, it seems the weather has gotten warmer as you said, but with the amount of destruction to our natural resources that mankind has inflicted upon our planet, and the way we as a race are buiding newer and bigger cities, and covering greenlands with concrete and asphalt, how can we not be at responsible for some of the weather annomolies that have occured over these last few years? We as a race have never pushed the earth as we have over the last ten or so years, destroying natural resources, new growth in building, new and ever increasing need for parking areas and such have taken much of the woodlands that we knew as children, and all in the name of progress. I myself truly believe that all sides of the political coin contain fools, and those who choose to turn a blind eye to those things that are plain to see, are the biggest fools of all. I am generally not political, but I am a lover of the outdoors, such is all our rights, but the government is not so inclined, they care little for such things as I have written regarding nature. So whats more important, balance in all things (weather and nature), or progress at the corporate level, which robs us all of our woodlands and wildlife.

Did you make the same mistake I did and start asking the hard questions? The questions they do not want to answer on his blog? Jer found it easier to just ban me than to actually answer my polite and on topic questions.

Ashmore...I couldn't agree more with what you say and that I would be more sympathetic to those that do not believe in Climate Change if they were more sympathetic to the enviroment.

So do your political views mirror your personality Tea? Some peoples do, me myself find remaining neutral the best bet. As I see it, all politicians are crooks, and we just hope to get those that hurt us and the environment the least. Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday week-end.

Interesting article in the "New Yorker" magazine about Mitt Romney and his Dad, and the far right take-over of the Republican Party which started in 1964. This take-over drove Romney senior and to some extent Nelson Rockerfella, the Republican progressive group, from power.
