Looks like it chose the biggest seed there was and then hung on to it like it was a trophy. Usually, this bird is fast in and fast out but it just hung out for m a good few photos. That's why I was able to zoom in and get such detail.

Lunching, Munching, Reading, and Writing While BirdSitting Today.
It was beautiful but a strong wind gust every now and then. Before I came in my hands got cold. I was determine to read the last chapter of Birds Art Life today but found myself trying to find ways to hold the book without the use of my hands. Not an easy feat.

So while over on WTS's blog this afternoon my mind got kidnapped and YES I resumed my crazy search for that story of Scone McMurray's photos two photos posted late one night that drove me crazy. The large iron art sculptures were so much like Bob Cage's and the farm road frontage pasture is almost identical to Bob Cage's farm except it is in Indiana. I went through my Bob Cage search again. I just feel there is some connection if only in my mind.

I hit the jackpot with the cardinals late this afternoon. From somewhere this huge blast of sunshine and warmth hit just as I reached the end of my street. While on my street it was cold and was forced to put my hood on. As I turned the corner, this blinding sun hit, I could not even see to tell who a regular walker was. But it was amazing the warmth from that sun. I could feel it almost burning my legs.

On my return trip home as I was coming through the curves just before Lovers Leap, I stopped in the big curve at the Lovers Leap Birdhouse Store. What a treat! Such a lovely shop and artisianship owner. I did not get to meet his wife who I think adds all the special touches of painting each birdhouse he creates.
