06:30, 67F, overcast. rain to the south. roosters crowing. dixie and guardian at back door. pup out. caught 1 mouse. old brownies wants to go back to the sheep but she's too weak. gave her grain. hoping she will rally but she's old and decrepit. computer really slow this a.m. thinking I should just end this blog for good. scrambled eggs for breakfast.

07:10, 64F, clear. sun's up. rosey skies earlier. russell and pup out. guardian at back door. roosters crowing. got 2 eggs. red-shouldered hawk calling from pines.
08:30, 69F. vacuumed kitchen. burnt my toast. gave it to dixie and guardian. cardinals singing.
11:50, 84F, partly cloudy, partly sunny. weeded flower garden. got 3 eggs. need to go to feedstore for sheep feed. taking guardian, she likes the occasional ride in the truck.

sleep, blessed sleep. at midnight, barred owl hoooing in the sheep woodlot across from farm house.
