When we started this Sunday drive, my husband and I, I thought what are we looking to shoot. There is no color now, no weather, just these old dry brown hills. Sometimes God shows himself in mysterious ways. Like color were there should be none. It seemed to hold true the entire drive and I was thankful.

The biggest buck of the year showed up on our north forty this afternoon. He bullied the other deer but met his match with the pesky wild turkeys. He stayed for a while, nibbled on a pine tree, then wandered off into the woods.
