the Big Sioux River at Sioux City.
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 01pm Tuesday the stage was 32.11 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 32.00 feet.
* Recent activity... the river rose above flood stage on Tuesday
September 17.
* Forecast... the river will crest near 33.2 feet by Wednesday
September 18. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday
September 19.
* At stages near 32.0 feet... agricultural land north of the leveed
area begins to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at South Sioux City.
* Until Wednesday evening.
* At 09am Tuesday the stage was 29.51 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.00 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to crest near flood stage on
Wednesday September 18.
* At stages near 30.0 feet... some of the boat docks and marinas along
the river begin to flood. Hamilton Boulevard at exit 149 on
Interstate 29 is flooded.
