Issued: 8:13 PM CDT Sep. 14, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Fox River near New Munster.
* At 7:00 PM Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 13.3 feet
tomorrow early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
early Saturday morning.
* Impact... at 13.8 feet... floodwaters are into the lower levels of
some homes in the town of Wheatland and Village of Salem lakes
areas along Riverside Drive and Shorewood drive.

precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and predicted
precipitation for the basin. Precipitation is for the next 24 hours

through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin,
including the following areas, in south central Wisconsin,
rock. In southeast Wisconsin, Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth.

* From 1 am CDT Sunday through Sunday morning

* thunderstorms may bring periods of moderate to heavy rainfall
late tonight into Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
inches will be possible.

* Be prepared for rapidly rising water levels and possible
flooding. Be ready to move to higher ground if heavy rain
develops.
