Flood Warning
Issued: 9:57 AM CDT Sep. 22, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Pecatonica River at Martintown.
* At 8:00 am Sunday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 15.3 feet by
Tuesday early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
Saturday afternoon.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet... floodwaters are in the back yard of at
least one home in Martintown. Floodwaters affect Martintown Road
and West River Road in the Martintown area. Upstream in Browntown,
floodwaters affect Highway mm and west indies Road.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin,
including the following areas, in south central Wisconsin,
Dane, green, Iowa, Lafayette, and rock. In southeast
Wisconsin, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee,
Racine, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha.

* Until 1 am CDT Monday

* showers and isolated storms may continue a period of higher
rainfall rates, producing rainfall of an inch of rain in one to
two hours.

* Some roadways may become flooded and potentially hazardous for
travel.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
