Issued: 12:11 PM CDT Sep. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 1130 PM CDT Thursday for
Grant County...

At 1209 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding across the
warned area. Water was reported over some roadways. Water was
flowing over borah Road north of Lancaster. Gauges on the Platte and
Grant rivers were showing rapid rises with moderate to major
flooding expected.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Platteville, Lancaster, Fennimore, Cuba City, Hazel Green,
Dickeyville, Cassville, Bloomington, Preston, Georgetown, Beetown,
Arthur, Montfort, Potosi, Livingston, Mount Ida, Ellenboro, Glen
Haven, Bagley and Tennyson.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
