... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to
8 PM CST this evening...

* what... snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches
north of an Appleton to Kewaunee line with less than inch to the
south.

* Where... portions of east central and northeast Wisconsin.

* When... from 3 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CST this evening.

* Impacts... plan on slippery Road conditions and poor visibilities.
The hazardous conditions will impact the afternoon and evening
commute.

* Additional details... drizzle is expected to change over to snow
during the mid to late afternoon hours. Once this occurs, the
snow is expected to become heavy for a brief period of time with
visibilities of less than a half mile during the late afternoon
commute. Once the band of heavy snow exits the area, gusty
northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 30 mph will
create areas of blowing and drifting snow early this evening.

Light rain or drizzle along with areas of fog will continue
through early afternoon. The fog may be locally dense with
visibilities of a quarter of a mile or less near Manitowoc until
mid afternoon.

The precipitation is expected to change over to all snow by mid
to late afternoon across the Fox Valley and Lakeshore region.
Snowfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected north of an
Appleton to Kewaunee line with less than an inch to the south.
Roads may become snow or ice covered and slippery for the late
afternoon and early evening commute. Temperatures are expected to
fall below freezing late this afternoon, thus treated roads may
also become icy.
