Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 12:39 AM CDT Sep. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am CDT this morning.

* Visibility... fog will continue to thicken overnight, leading to
greatly reduced visibility. The visibility will drop to well
below 1/4 mile at times.

* Impacts... the low visibility will pose a significant hazard to
motorists, especially during the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means the visibility will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low-beam headlights... and keep plenty of distance between
your vehicle and other vehicles.

Special Statement
Issued: 9:33 PM CDT Sep. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Areas of dense fog will impact travel overnight into Friday
morning...

Areas of dense fog, with visibilities of 1/4 mile or less, will
form overnight and continue through the Friday morning commute.
The dense fog will result in hazardous travel conditions. The
foggy conditions are expected to improve by 9 am or 10 am Friday.

Motorists traveling across the region through Friday morning can
expect poor and rapidly changing visibilities at times. Morning
commuters should plan for a slow drive to work or school. When
driving in fog, remember to slow down, use your low-beam
