The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at St. Louis
* until further notice.
* At 10:30 am Saturday the stage was 40.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to continue rising to near 42.8 feet by
Friday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact: at 43.0 feet... at this level, 5 floodgates are installed:
3 floodgates at the corps of engineers service base, another at
Zepp street, and another at the Railroad near Guthrie street.
* Impact: at 42.0 feet... Riverview Blvd becomes flooded. A panel
floodgate is installed at Riverview Blvd.
* Impact: at 41.0 feet... at this level, St. Louis city installs a
double floodgate at branch street in north St. Louis.

* At 9:30 am Saturday the stage was 33.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to crest near 34.1 feet by tomorrow early
afternoon.
* Impact: at 34.5 feet... Missouri Highway 94 near Route h will be
closed in both directions near this height.
* Impact: at 33.5 feet... Highway 94 floods downstream of St Charles.

* Impact: at 37.4 feet... homes on Countryside Circle, eljon drive,
Babbs Lane, and lavernal Lane begin flooding.

* At 9:00 am Saturday the stage was 19.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to continue rising to near 19.7 feet by
Monday early afternoon. Additional rises may be possible
thereafter.
* Impact: at 20.5 feet... Marshall Road begins to flood.
* Impact: at 20.2 feet... portions of Fenton begin to flood.
* Impact: at 19.5 feet... Buder Park and the Recreation Park at the
water plant floods.
