Special Statement
Issued: 4:00 PM PDT Sep. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Areas of freezing temperatures and frost tonight...

Fall weather has settled over the region and we will see
temperatures drop off tonight as skies begin to clear out. Typical
colder valleys in the Sierra will drop to below freezing tonight
and into early Friday morning, while some rural and outlying
valleys in western Nevada and northeast California will see
temperatures near freezing and areas of frost.

If you have any frost sensitive plants, you may want to consider
bringing them inside or covering them up tonight. Watch for patchy
slick conditions on frost covered roads and sidewalks. A warming
trend is then expected Friday through this weekend.
