... High risk of rip currents until 4 PM this afternoon...

* what... dangerous rip currents.

* Where... along east facing reefs of Guam... Rota... Tinian and Saipan.

* When... through 4 PM this afternoon.

* Impacts... rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

* Additional details... on some beaches... such as ritidian and gun
beaches on Guam and obyan beach on Saipan the high risk of rip
currents could extend to north facing reefs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Swim near a lifeguard, and never swim alone. If caught in a rip
current... relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able...
swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape...
face the shore and call or wave for help.
