The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Rock Island ld15.
* Until Friday.
* At 6:00 am Sunday the stage was 14.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage Monday and continue rising to 15.9
feet Wednesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
Friday.
* Impact, at 16.0 feet, water affects sidewalks along the river at
Le Claire park. Water also affects Credit Island Lane and moline's
River Drive in the 4700 block.

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of Illinois and Iowa, including the following areas,
in Illinois, Bureau, Hancock, Henderson, Henry IL, McDonough,
Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, and Warren. In Iowa, Des Moines,
Louisa, Muscatine, and Scott.

* Until 7 PM CDT this evening

* a prolonged period of moderate to heavy rain will end early this
evening.

* Be prepared for rapidly rising water levels and possible
flooding if you are near a river, stream, or low lying area.
Be ready to move to higher ground if heavy rain develops.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that flash flooding is possible.
Monitor forecasts and take action if flash flood warnings are
issued or flash flooding develops.

* Flood Watch for
the Mississippi River at Camanche
* until Wednesday.
* At 10:30 am Sunday the stage was 15.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage Tuesday morning... and continue
rising to 17.1 feet Tuesday evening. Fall below flood stage
Wednesday.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream in combination
with forecast rainfall. Consequently there is limited confidence
in the river reaching flood stage.
