... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 PM CST this
afternoon...
* what... expect a quick burst of snow with dramatic visibility
reduction due to moderate to heavy snowfall rates and blowing
snow. The visibility may be reduced to a quarter mile at
times. Wind gusts in excess of 35 mph are likely and may
create near blizzard conditions at times. The limited duration
of the snowfall will limit accumulations to an inch or less.
* Where... central to eastern Iowa.
* When... until 1 PM CST this afternoon.
* Impacts... plan on slippery Road conditions and visibilities
under a quarter mile at times due to intense snow rates and
blowing snow.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
