The Flood Warning continues for
the White River at Noblesville.
* Until late Tuesday night.
* At 5:45 PM Monday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... it will rise to near 14.8 feet by Tuesday morning then
begin falling. It will fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
* At 14.5 feet... Edith Avenue begins to flood near the Potter bridge
area. Flooding begins in residential areas along east 116th street
in the Trails End area, along east 146th street, and sr 19 just
north of sr 32.

The Flood Warning continues for
the White River at Anderson.
* Until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 5:30 PM Monday the stage was 12.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... it will rise to near 13.3 feet by this evening then
begin falling. It will fall below flood stage late Tuesday night.
* At 13.0 feet... flood waters close Edgewood Park and grand Avenue
between Alexandria Pike and Broadway. If river is rising at this
level, the city of Anderson notifies residents along hazlett
street, near W 1st street and Madison Avenue, near W 2nd street and
Sycamore street, and along Riverside Drive to prepare for
sandbagging operations and possible evacuations.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
southern Hamilton County in central Indiana...

* until 845 PM EDT.

* At 539 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
flooding. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville and Westfield.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, south
central Indiana, southeast Indiana, southwest Indiana, and
west central Indiana, including the following areas, in
central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone, Decatur, Hamilton,
Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, rush, and Shelby.
In east central Indiana, Henry. In south central Indiana,
Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana,
Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin,
and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Owen, Putnam, and
Vigo.

* Through Tuesday afternoon

* heavy rain is possible into Tuesday morning. Heavy rain falling
over already saturated ground could result in flash flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.

Never drive into flood water. Turn around... don't drown!
