Special Statement
Issued: 11:00 AM EST Nov. 16, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Increased risk for fire spread this afternoon...

Relative humidities are expected to drop into the low to mid 20s
today with gusty winds. North to northeast winds will gust
between 20 to 25 mph across much of the area with gusts up to 35
or 40 mph near the coast. This will promote drying of fine fuels
such as wild grasses, brush and Pine Needles and lead to an
increased risk of fire spread.

For more information about wildfire danger, burn restrictions, and
wildfire prevention and education, please visit your state
forestry or environmental protection websites.
