The Flood Warning continues for
the Iowa river at Marengo.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 am Friday the stage was 16.2 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise to 17.9 feet Tuesday morning and remain near that
level for several days.
* Impact, at 18.0 feet, water breaches the mill race dikes near
Middle Amana.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from 4 PM CDT this
afternoon through Saturday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Illinois, Iowa, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Carroll, Hancock,
Henderson, Henry IL, Jo Daviess, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam,
Rock Island, Stephenson, Warren, and Whiteside. In Iowa,
Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines,
Dubuque, Henry IA, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones,
Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, and
Washington. In northeast Missouri, Clark and Scotland.

* This afternoon through Saturday morning

* heavy rainfall and saturated soils may lead to flash flooding

* flash flooding is possible especially in urban areas, and along
small creeks and streams. In addition, the heavy rain may also
lead to further rises on rivers that are already flooding.
