... Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice...

The Flood Warning continues for
the Rock River at Moline.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:30 am Saturday the stage was 12.4 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise to 13.0 feet Monday evening. The river is forecast
to begin falling on Tuesday, however additional rains this weekend
could cause the high levels to extend to later in the week.
* Impact, at 13.0 feet, moderate flood stage. In Moline, water
affects homes on South Shore drive and cuts off access to homes
east of the I-74 bridge. Water also affects 49th Avenue south of
the theater. Water affects Vandruff Island.

the Rock River near Joslin.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:45 am Saturday the stage was 12.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise to 14.0 feet Monday morning. The river is forecast
to begin falling on Tuesday, however additional rains this weekend
could cause the high levels to extend to later in the week.
* Impact, at 14.0 feet, water affects residences in outlying areas
immediately along the river including basements, yards, driveways,
and access roads.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from 4 PM CDT this
afternoon through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Illinois, Iowa, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Hancock, Henderson,
Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, and Warren.
In Iowa, Des Moines, Henry IA, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa,
Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, and Washington. In northeast
Missouri, Clark and Scotland.

* From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Sunday morning

* thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible. This may lead
to flash flooding as soils are saturated in the region.

* Flash flooding is possible especially in urban areas and along
small creeks and streams. In addition, the heavy rain may also
lead to further rises on rivers that are already flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that flash flooding is possible.
Monitor forecasts and take action if flash flood warnings are
issued or flash flooding develops.
